The Third Annual Lake Martin Young Professionals Polar Plunge presented by USAmeriBank is Saturday, January 13, at Kowaliga Restaurant. This brisk fundraiser benefits the Lake Martin Resource Association and the tremendous work they do in keeping Lake Martin clean, safe and prosperous!
When Russell Forest Run participants are asked to share their favorite part of the run is, we always get a handful of different answers. Most of them say they love the after party in The Stables at Russell Crossroads. Of course, the die-hard runners say, “the toughness of the course,” and rounding out the list is, “the Finish Line.”
If finding that perfect gift seems like a daunting task sometimes, you’re in luck! We have some tips for you. We have just received our limited edition Russell Lands On Lake Martin maps. The wonder of the lake never ceases. Even though seasons may change, new beauty is born here every day. In this holiday season, we have much to be grateful for and to celebrate. We’re proud to call you part of our family, and we wish you and yours a most joyous of Christmas holidays!
Russell Lands On Lake Martin comprises a host of individual businesses, each of which helps make this wonderful place what it is. As one might expect, most will be closed on Thanksgiving day so our employees can celebrate this holiday of gratitude with their families and friends. Some of the other days of the week have been adjusted, too.
Russell Lands On Lake Martin Naturalist Marianne Hudson will be having fun this month with the one critter that’s on everyone’s Thanksgiving guest list—live turkeys! She’ll also be guiding a nature hike through the glory of autumn in Russell Forest.
After all of the toil of Thanksgiving, reward yourself by stepping into the charm and sparkle of the Christmas season. Rather than fight the crowds of Black Friday shoppers, plan for a much happier day at Russell Crossroads.
LOCATION CHANGED. Mother Nature and a soggy forecast may have forced us to change the location of this year’s Fall Family Festival, but she can’t stop the fun. Rain or shine, all of the fun fall activities will be happening at Cole’s Shop off of Willow Point Cutoff Road near the entrance to Willow Point.
