We are happy to announce that version 2.0 of the Russell Lands mobile app now includes nearly 65 miles of paddling routes skimming past 130 miles of beautiful Lake Martin shoreline. Comprised of 17 paddling routes and six put-in/take-out points, we call the network the Blueway.
Join us for The Great Outdoors Clinic at Russell Lands On Lake Martin. Space is limited to 20 people, and there are only 10 spots left!
It still feels like summer on Lake Martin and the lake levels are still high….so…..at Russell Marine, we are extending our sale through the month of October! Now is THE BEST time to buy gear with up to 40% off all wakeboards and skis. Not to mention 50% off apparel including t-shirts from Billabong, Costa and more
Make sure you bring the entire family down to Russell Crossroads for a morning filled with FUN! The Fall Family Festival is also a learning experience. We will have our working grist mill and a blacksmith in the Blacksmith Shop. So, make plans to be there! Yes, there is a charge, but it’s only $25 per family.
Two freshly completed lake homes in Willow Glynn will provide the setting for their spook-a-licous unveiling. Constructed by one of Russell Lands On Lake Martin’s most prolific builders, Bob Harris of RLH Construction, “The Abby” and the “Riverside Cottage” will be open for your personal inspection. Chef Chris Doggett of Willow Point Golf & Country Club will be creating tasty bites and refreshments. Perhaps one of these b00-tiful new lake homes will cast a spell on you, and you’ll make it your own.
Just as the lake level rises and falls with the seasons, the forests take on their fiery fall cloak and the sunsets sneak in a little earlier, so must the businesses at Russell Lands On Lake Martin adjust their hours for the not-so-busy season. But rest assured, our doors are open, and we’re here to greet you warmly!
The Russell Lands Fall Family Festival will be here before we know it, and it promises to be bigger and better this year! As always, the event’s focus is on the kids! With that in mind, we will open up the Pumpkin Patch, and have pumpkin carving and decorating, a real firetruck for the kids to climb in and on, horseback rides and, of course, arts and crafts. This year, we are adding a few new things!
To show our support for the pivotal role that education and high school athletics play in our local community, Russell Do it Center commissioned Corey Worden of Beneath the Bark Chainsaw Carvings to carve something for us that we hope will be a symbol of our continued support for Benjamin Russell High School for years to come.
There are plenty of beautiful lakes in the United States, so what does it say about Lake Martin when Godfrey Marine, a top-of-the-line boat manufacturer for more than 60 years, selects our very own lake for the third year in a row as the setting for their annual photo shoot? It says a lot.
