Make sure you bring the entire family down to Russell Crossroads for a morning filled with FUN! The Fall Family Festival is also a learning experience. We will have our working grist mill and a blacksmith in the Blacksmith Shop. So, make plans to be there! Yes, there is a charge, but it’s only $25 per family.
Two freshly completed lake homes in Willow Glynn will provide the setting for their spook-a-licous unveiling. Constructed by one of Russell Lands On Lake Martin’s most prolific builders, Bob Harris of RLH Construction, “The Abby” and the “Riverside Cottage” will be open for your personal inspection. Chef Chris Doggett of Willow Point Golf & Country Club will be creating tasty bites and refreshments. Perhaps one of these b00-tiful new lake homes will cast a spell on you, and you’ll make it your own.
The Russell Lands Fall Family Festival will be here before we know it, and it promises to be bigger and better this year! As always, the event’s focus is on the kids! With that in mind, we will open up the Pumpkin Patch, and have pumpkin carving and decorating, a real firetruck for the kids to climb in and on, horseback rides and, of course, arts and crafts. This year, we are adding a few new things!
To show our support for the pivotal role that education and high school athletics play in our local community, Russell Do it Center commissioned Corey Worden of Beneath the Bark Chainsaw Carvings to carve something for us that we hope will be a symbol of our continued support for Benjamin Russell High School for years to come.
Music on the Deck is back for one more weekend at Kowaliga Restaurant! Join the Kowaliga gang as we welcome River Dan from 4:30–7:30. Stop by early and grab a table. The fifth annual Holiday Bazaar art market will be held November 24 at Russell Crossroads. This event on the Town Green features local artisans from Lake Martin and the surrounding area exhibiting original works in jewelry, reclaimed wood décor, paintings, photography, candles, soaps, and much more. Holding the this year’s Holiday Bazaar on the Town Green will concentrate all of the festivities in one location for maximum traffic.
