When Russell Forest Run participants are asked to share their favorite part of the run is, we always get a handful of different answers. Most of them say they love the after party in The Stables at Russell Crossroads. Of course, the die-hard runners say, “the toughness of the course,” and rounding out the list is, “the Finish Line.”
If finding that perfect gift seems like a daunting task sometimes, you’re in luck! We have some tips for you. We have just received our limited edition Russell Lands On Lake Martin maps. LOCATION CHANGED. Mother Nature and a soggy forecast may have forced us to change the location of this year’s Fall Family Festival, but she can’t stop the fun. Rain or shine, all of the fun fall activities will be happening at Cole’s Shop off of Willow Point Cutoff Road near the entrance to Willow Point.
LOCATION CHANGED due to weather! Make sure you bring the entire family down for a morning filled with FUN! The Fall Family Festival is also a learning experience. We will have our working grist mill and a blacksmith in the Blacksmith Shop. So, make plans to be there! Yes, there is a charge, but it’s only $25 per family.
Two freshly completed lake homes in Willow Glynn will provide the setting for their spook-a-licous unveiling. Constructed by one of Russell Lands On Lake Martin’s most prolific builders, Bob Harris of RLH Construction, “The Abby” and the “Riverside Cottage” will be open for your personal inspection. Chef Chris Doggett of Willow Point Golf & Country Club will be creating tasty bites and refreshments. Perhaps one of these b00-tiful new lake homes will cast a spell on you, and you’ll make it your own.
