When is the last time you, or your kids, saw a working Blacksmith or watched corn being ground in to corn meal? It doesn’t happen very often in one spot—but, it gets even better! Not only will you find a working blacksmith and a grist mill, but at the Fall Family Festival you’ll be treated to tons of games on the lawn, face painting and pumpkin carving, hot dogs, lemonade—this year we are adding Fall Festival BINGO (we’ll tell you how it works)—and LOTS more!

If you have a favorite recipe for a pie (pecan, chocolate, buttermilk… be creative, we had a few cheesecakes last year), or if you love canning things like pickles, eggs, jelly or preserves, peppers, etc., then you really should enter the old fashioned Canning/Baking Contest! OF course there are blue ribbons up for grabs and gift cards for food, too. Keep checking back for all the details!
