Guided Nature Tour – Willow Point Trailhead

March 31, 2018 | 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm

Join RLOLM Naturalist Marianne Hudson for an educational foray into a forest reaching for Spring! Spring means forest babies, and we will discuss who’s hatching and what’s happening in Russell Forest. March means buds, babies and birdsong – and we will explore the trails to find evidence that Spring is coming to our piece of paradise. This energetic hike will offer both learning and exercise. This Tour is appropriate for participants ages 5 – 105.

ADVANCE REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED, SO PLEASE CALL! There is a $10 fee for this program.

Please contact our Naturalist at 256-496-2710 for info and to register.

We recommend that participants have a moderate fitness level and are able to stand or walk for at least two hours. Walking pace will be relaxed with frequent stops. Comfortable, seasonally appropriate clothing and shoes are advised. You may want to bring bottled water, sunscreen and insect repellent. Binoculars and cameras are welcome. Remember, there are no bathrooms on the Forest Trails.
