Start off your Saturday with two very popular fitness classes on the Town Green. Breathe in the fresh morning air and find your center. Then, maybe indulge in the best breakfast at Lake Martin at Catherine’s Market before letting Naturalist Marianne Hudson “school” us on how critters are classified. You’ll be home in time for college football!

Pilates with Jan Hare

Pilates is a total-body conditioning exercise method combining flexibility and strength, focusing on the powerhouse (core, lower back and buttocks) and lengthening the spine.
Jan Hare has been a certified group fitness trainer and Pilates instructor for over 20 years. For many years, she was employed by the University of Florida where she was actively involved in aerobic training for several of the men’s and women’s sports. She has worked with the CACC baseball team’s strength and conditioning program, and currently teaches various fitness classes at Russell Medical Total Fitness, with Pilates being one of her favorite classes.
