Russell Lands Launches Master Brand for its Lake Martin Communities

Media Contact: Janet Price 256-212-1425 jprice@russelllands.com RUSSELL LANDS LAUNCHES MASTER BRAND FOR ITS LAKE MARTIN COMMUNITIES Introducing “Russell Lands On Lake Martin” LAKE MARTIN, AL – April 1, 2009 -- Russell Lands, Inc. announced today that the company has designated its 25,000 acres of real estate holdings on Lake Martin “Russell Lands On Lake Martin.” Currently comprised of several distinct neighborhoods situated along more than 200 miles of shoreline, four world-class marinas, thousands of acres of forest, Willow Point Golf & Country Club, and Russell Crossroads town center, Russell Lands On Lake Martin encompasses the company’s existing properties as well as future developments. Russell Lands will launch the new name and new brand identity immediately. A supporting advertising campaign promoting the gracious, yet simple, lifestyle that exists in Russell Lands’ communities will run in the spring and summer of 2009. While Russell Lands On Lake Martin will be the master brand used to identify the “place”, the company will preserve the identity of its existing neighborhoods under the Russell Lands On Lake Martin umbrella. “By identifying our developments and amenities as one place rather than a collection of separate communities, we’re more accurately describing what we have become,” said Tom Lamberth, president of Russell Lands, Inc. “We’ve grown into a community that features many different types of homes, a number of resort-style amenities and sophisticated retail and restaurant offerings.
