RLH Construction, Inc. is a Birmingham-based construction company led by Bob Harris. In addition to operating a successful building company, Bob has a successful CPA practice. Bob began building custom homes in Birmingham in 1990. Acting upon a family desire to get a new lake home, in 2003, Bob decided to test the waters, so to speak, at Lake Martin. At that time, The Ridge was still a new community, and Bob first found a site to build the family lake home and then selected a lot to build a speculative home.

In the process of searching for lake home sites, Bob met several new customers. Within a few short months, he had no less than four projects underway in The Ridge. Bob's financial background as a CPA, coupled with his knowledge of custom homes, proved to be a valuable combination of skills for potential lake homeowners. Recently, the RLH management team grew to include Bob's son, Hunter Harris. Hunter has a lot in common with his father. He graduated from Auburn University with an Accounting degree, and he has earned his CPA designation. Hunter spent a great deal of time around construction projects growing up and is a valuable addition to the firm.

RLH continues to build homes for sale in both The Ridge and Willow Glynn as well as build custom homes, primarily in Russell Lands neighborhoods. Bob's team builds homes from their portfolio, performs design-build projects, or build custom homes designed by the owner's approved architect.
