Businesses Carefully Reopened

After several weeks of imposed restrictions, many of our businesses have carefully reopened while observing safety measures. We look forward to serving you!
Catherine’s Market
Catherine’s Market currently allows 2 people per group/family to enter the market. A maximum of 15 people is allowed in the market at a time. The Café will continue to offer lunch 10am-2pm with seating available on the outside patio. Seating is limited to 8 people per table.

Kowaliga Restaurant
Kowaliga Restaurant is now offering in-house dining. The restaurant is limited to 50-percent capacity, and tables are limited to 8 people each. Bar seating is not offered at this time. Kowaliga Restaurant does not accept reservations.
Wednesday–Sunday 11am–9pm
SpringHouse
SpringHouse has resumed in-house dining. The restaurant is limited to 50-percent capacity with no more than 8 people per table. Seating at the bar and the chef’s counter is not offered at this time. Reservations are only available by calling SpringHouse at 256.215.7080.
Russell Do it Center/Russell Building Supply
Russell Do it Center and Russell Building Supply locations have returned to their regular hours of operation. Find your nearest store’s current hours on their website.
The Stables
The Stables has resumed scheduling horseback trail rides. Rides are limited to 4 people. To book a trail ride, call Linda at 256.794.1333.
Adventure Center/Company Store
The Adventure Center and Company Store is now open. They will return to regular hours of operation starting Tuesday, May 26.

Crossroads Landing Shuttle
Traveling to Russell Crossroads by boat? The Crossroads Landing Shuttle is open once again. Maximum two riders per cart (not including driver). Driver has the right to refuse rides.

Russell Marine
The Ridge Marina, Kowaliga Marina, River North Marina and Real Island Marina remain open during regular business hours for boat sales, service, Pro Shop sales and ship store sales. All marina showrooms are now open to the public while taking extra precautions to ensure the safety of our customers and employees. The gas docks remain open during regular business hours, and 24-hour gas pumps remain open at The Ridge Marina and Kowaliga Marina.

Naturalist Presentations
Although live presentations at the Naturalist Cabin have been put on hold, you can still join our Naturalist Marianne around 7am daily as she posts a “Nature Note” to the Naturalist Marianne Facebook page. We’re sharing it on the Russell Lands On Lake Martin Facebook page, too.
These are short, daily tidbits that parents can start the day giving their kids for a look about the natural world. She is doing this with either photos or videos and often includes a link for “extended activity.” According to Marianne, “this is intended as a brief science lesson appropriate across multiple age groups.”
