A Birmingham, Alabama native, Emily began her career in marketing for Jim ‘N Nick’s Bar-B-Q. In 2011, she moved to Alexander City and married her husband Rob McDaniel. Emily joined the Russell Lands On Lake Martin sales team in 2012 selling waterfront real estate, while Rob assumed the role of Executive Chef at the community’s SpringHouse, a fine-dining restaurant. Working for the largest developer on Lake Martin, she learned the ins and outs of the industry. She holds an Alabama real estate license and is a certified Resort and Second-Home Property Specialist. As a Real Estate Sales Executive, Emily thrives on meeting new people and helping them unlock the door to their dream lake home.

Outside of the office, Emily is very active in the community and a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Alexander City. Emily is on the Executive Board of the Lake Martin Young Professionals, the Board of the Alexander City Chamber of Commerce, and the 2018 Committee for the Future at Children’s Hospital in Birmingham.

Working for Russell Lands On Lake Martin has given her an opportunity to learn about residential building, as well as the development of neighborhoods and infrastructure. Not only has she excelled in real estate, she has achieved growth in her position at the company and serves on the front lines of real estate. Emily is a hard worker and a quick study, and maintains a professional and honest relationship while working with her clients. She was awarded ‘Realtor of the Year’ in 2017 by her local Real Estate Association and recently welcomed two beautiful twin girls, Rosemary and Amelia, in May 2017.
