Godfrey chooses Lake Martin to make their boats look their best

 

There are plenty of beautiful lakes in the United States, so what does it say about Lake Martin when Godfrey Marine, a top-of-the-line boat manufacturer for more than 60 years, selects our very own lake for the third year in a row as the setting for their annual photo shoot? It says a lot. They recently visited Lake Martin and photographed 20 of their 2018 boat models including Sanpan, Sweetwater, and Aqua Patio pontoons, and their line of Hurricane deck boats. These images will be used nationally in brochures and magazines, on billboards, online, and more.

Godfrey first used Lake Martin for their model year shoot in 2012, and have since used the lake five times. They bring an entire photography and videography team to the lake for a week where they scout out all the locations they want to use, recruit local models via social media and spend countless hours on the lake to get the perfect shots.
