David Sturdivant Named New COO of Russell Lands

The Board of Directors of Russell Lands, Inc. is excited to announce that David B. Sturdivant is the new Chief Operating Officer, effective immediately, reporting to Thomas T. Lamberth, President and Chief Executive Officer.

“Serving as the company’s Chief Financial Officer since 2003, David has been a key member of our executive management team for many years,” said CEO Tom Lamberth. Sturdivant has also had direct operational responsibility for the company’s hardware and building materials business, Russell Do it Centers. In his new role as COO, his position will be expanded to include more operational responsibility with the company’s other business units. We couldn’t be more thrilled about all of the exciting opportunities ahead.”

Mr. Sturdivant, 48, joined Russell Lands in 1993 as Comptroller. He is a graduate of Auburn University and is a Certified Public Accountant. He and his wife, Laurie, have three children, Bailey, Sam and Scott. An active member of the community, David previously served as President of the Lake Martin Area United Way and as Treasurer of the Alexander City Rotary Club for many years. He is past-President of the Alexander City Board of Education and was recently reappointed to serve a second term as a member of the board.
